Our Approach to Nurturing The Environment We Share

Clean & Green School Programme

In Phnom Penh, plastic makes up nearly 20% of the city’s total waste. To support the Ministry of Environment’s Clean Cambodia, Khmer Can Do! campaign, we partnered with the Ministry of Education, Youth and Sport to launch the Clean and Green School Programme in November 2024.

The seven-month competition engaged 67 secondary schools across 14 districts in Phnom Penh, focusing on two key components: school cleanliness and plastic waste collection. NagaWorld Kind Hearts played an active role by conducting workshops and monthly spot checks, while our recycling partner ensured proper collection and recycling making this initiative both impactful and educational.

Green Cambodia: Tree Planting Programme

Our commitment to reforestation and expanding green spaces began years ago, taking formal shape in 2018 with the launch of the Green Cambodia: Tree Planting Programme.

In 2024, we expanded our effort with our first mangrove restoration initiative, planting 2,000 saplings to strengthen coastal ecosystems. In 2025, we further deepened our commitment by signing a Memorandum of Understanding with the Ministry of Environment, supporting its nurseries to produce up to three million saplings for distribution nationwide.

To mark our 30th anniversary in Cambodia, we set an ambitious goal of planting 30,000 tree saplings by 2025. As we pursue this target, we recognise that planting alone is not enough. That is why we partner with government bodies, NGOs, and local communities to monitor tree survival, so every seedling thrives into a greener legacy.
